How much confetti for your guests?
Use this guide to work out how many litres you need, based on the number of people who will be throwing confetti.
Do I need confetti for every guest?
Not necessarily. Base your quantity on the number of people who will actually take part in the confetti throw, rather than your total guest list.
For example, if you have 150 guests but around 100 will form your confetti aisle, 9–10 litres should give everyone taking part a generous handful.
What does 1 litre of confetti look like?
Our petals are measured by volume because real flower petals naturally vary in size and shape. One litre gives approximately 10–12 generous handfuls.

Real flower petals are a beautiful way to add colour and texture to your tables. These guidelines are for tables approximately 1.5 metres long.

Tip: For a more organic look, scatter the petals naturally rather than trying to create an entirely even covering.

How much confetti for flower girls?
For a flower girl scattering petals down the aisle, 1 litre provides approximately 10–12 generous handfuls.
For one or two flower girls, 1–2 litres is usually plenty. For three or four, we recommend 2–5 litres depending on the length of the aisle and how generously you’d like the petals scattered.

It depends on the look you love. All our petals are real flowers – never artificially dyed – so every harvest has its own subtle variations in colour, shape and texture.
